Rooms & RV Spots

Welcome to Valentine, where lake life and fishing tradition meet.

Each room at Valentine Lakeside is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, including all necessary appliances like a stove, refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, and toaster, along with dishes, flatware, and cookware. All rooms are provided linens, soap, and body wash for added convenience. Outside, guests have access to charcoal grills and picnic tables. Most units welcome pets, making them perfect for travelers with furry companions.

Sunfish Studios #1 - #8

Easy stays. Lazy days.

Sunfish are the glittering confetti of the shallows: bright, round, and always up for a nibble. You’ll spot them just off the dock, flashing blues and greens like tiny living jewels. They snack on bugs and snails and anything bite-sized, and when hooked, they put on a surprisingly feisty show. Small fish, big personality.

  • The Sunfish Studios have two double or queen beds or one of each. Up to 4 guests per unit. Up to two dogs up to 100 pounds allowed in cabins 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7. Pet fee required.

Angler Suites #11, #12, #14, #15

Catch a sunrise. Catch a memory.

The Angler Suites — the River, the Rocks, the Cove, and the Creek — are where you’ll catch a sunrise, hook a memory or reel in rest. The two-story waterfront fourplex is a stone’s throw from the shore with spectacular lake views and room to spread out.

  • Each suite has a bedroom with at least two queen beds and a large kitchen/living/dining room with spectacular lake views. The living room sleeps more guests on double futons and sofa beds, and all rooms have at least one recliner. Up to 8 guests per unit. Up to two dogs up to 100 pounds allowed in all Lakefront Suites. Pet fee required.

The Bass Suite #9

Big stories. Big moments.

Bass are the lake’s bassasinators. They have big mouths, bigger attitudes. With a jaw that means business and a taste for anything that wiggles, they rule the food chain with quiet confidence. Olive-green and striped, they can grow impressively large. See and hear those sleek boats on the water? Those are bass anglers on a mission, with an (expensive) obsession.

  • Cottage with private, covered deck overlooking the lake. The bedroom has one king bed and the living room has a double futon. The deck houses a BBQ grill and patio dining.  Up to 4 guests. Up to two dogs up to 100 pounds allowed, pet fee required.

Crappie House #16

Cozy. Classic. Quiet.

Say it with flair: CROP-ee. Crappie are the fish with a thousand nicknames: sacalait, specks, paper mouths. Silvery and soft, they’re as pretty as they are tasty, despite what their unfortunate name suggests. Definitely not “crappy.” More like quietly fabulous.

  • Two-bedroom, 1.5 bath mobile home with kitchen/dining/living area and covered porch near the lake. Each bedroom has two full-size beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Up to 8 guests. No pets.

Lunker House #17

Big space. Slow pace.

A “lunker” is the stuff of fishing legends—the one that didn’t get away. It’s the giant, the brag-worthy, the fish that makes you stretch your arms t-h-i-s wide. Bigger than usual, more satisfying than expected. Think of it as the Double Wide of fish.

  • Three-bedroom, two bath with a kitchen/dining/living area and covered porch near the pool. The master has two queen beds and full bath. Second full bath is shared by BR2 with two double beds and BR3 with three double beds. Fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer and dryer. Up to 14 guests. No pets.

Catfish Suite #20

Comfy. Roomy. Versatile.

Catfish are the lake’s mustachioed philosophers, sporting whiskers (called barbels) that taste the world as they wander. Smooth-skinned and unhurried, they drift along the bottom like they’ve got nowhere to be and all day to get there. If the lake had a slow-lane, they’d be cruising it with style.

  • Suite with one large bedroom with two queen beds and a futon. One large bath with a tub. Fully stocked kitchen. Living room has a comfy sofa bed. Twin bed in walk-in closet. Up to 7 guests. Two dogs up to 100 pounds allowed, pet fee required.

Perch Studio #21

Small spaces. Big comfort.

Perch are the cheerful little stripe-wearers of the lake, dressed in sunny yellows and oranges like they’re headed to a picnic. They travel in friendly schools, making them easy to catch and eager to bite. They’re the welcoming committee for anyone with a hook, line and worm.

  • One queen bed and recliner in handicap-friendly efficiency with walk-in shower, wide doorways. Stocked kitchen. One dog up to 100 pounds allowed, pet fee required. Up to 2 guests.

Shad Studio #22

Small spaces. Big comfort.

Shad are the silvery swirl beneath the surface, moving in shimmering schools that ripple like liquid light. Their forked tails and saw-edged bellies attract bass like flies to honey. Think of them as the background dancers that make the whole show work.

  • Queen bed, full bath, sofa bed, television. The kitchen has a coffee pot, heating pot, toaster oven, microwave, fridge and essential eating ware. Want to own your own place? We’ll finance, or you can buy it outright and rent just the spot (and access to the rest of Valentine!)

Minnow Studio #23

Small spaces. Big comfort.

Minnows are the lake’s tiniest go-getters. They are sleek, subtle, and endlessly useful. Barely a few inches long, they glide in soft shades of silver and olive, minding their business and somehow being everyone else’s. Small? Yes. Important? Absolutely.

  • Queen bed, full bath, sofa, television. The kitchen has a coffee pot, heating pot, toaster oven, microwave, fridge and essential eating ware. Want to own your own place? We’ll finance, or you can buy it outright and rent just the spot (and access to the rest of Valentine!)
